Eric Taub Eric Taub
CEO/Managing Partner

Before Eric founded Verus Carbon Neutral, he was a partner and portfolio manager at Juno Management of Atlanta. His career has taken him to London, New York, Mexico City and Chicago. Eric's experience includes several years as Senior Vice President in portfolio management at Wachovia, Managing Director at SunTrust, Director of Emerging Markets at Bank of Montreal, and certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst. He received his MBA at New York University and undergraduate degree at Tufts. A master of carbon emission management strategies—balancing risks against opportunity—he has a deep understanding of the global emissions market. Eric is an expert at identifying and capitalizing on what our new green economy holds and how to best position organizations for success.

Andrew Keenan Andrew Keenan
CMO/Partner

Andrew knows the important role public relations takes in building awareness for climate change. He also understands that businesses play a huge leadership role in driving carbon reductions. With over twenty years experience in advertising, Andrew has worked for agencies such as JWT, Chiat/Day, DDB Needham and Leo Burnett. Andrew earned his Executive MBA from Georgia State and completed his under graduate degree at the University of Michigan. He also serves on the Board of Directors Executive Committee for the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center and Investors Advisory Board for Eco-Bella organic clothing store. As Chief Marketing Officer, it is Andrew's responsibility to make sure his clients stand out as leaders in the fight to end climate change.

James Lloyd
CSO

James has spent the last 20 years working and learning in the area of sustainability strategy with schools, companies, non-profit organizations, and governments. Mr. Lloyd has helped organizations to develop effective solutions in a broad range of sectors including real estate development, home building, natural resource protection, electric utilities, manufacturing, retail, climate change markets, international development, tourism, and education. He received both an MBA and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Policy from the University of Michigan.

Tim Baxter
Green Building Liaison

As a business attorney, Tim has represented small businesses for over sixteen years. More recently, Tim has been advising green building trades whose missions support sustainability. He holds juris doctor and masters degrees from Duke University, and completed his undergraduate education at the University of Rochester. Tim has a passion for helping green businesses realize their potential through the strategic use of CO2-reducing offset projects.

Dan Berler
Technical Associate

Dan has 24 years of experience in environmental consulting, project management, people management, sales, marketing, and business development. His technical experience includes indoor air quality consulting, hydrogeology and geophysical investigations, environmental analytical chemistry, computer simulations of contaminant transport in soils, subsurface assessments of Superfund sites, and management of RCRA sites. He is very interested in the development of renewable/sustainable fuels and materials to mitigate geopolitical risk and the creation of a mandatory global carbon cap and trade system to stimulate reductions of CO2 and other greenhouse gases responsible for global warming. Dan is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional and a registered professional geologist. Dan graduated with an MBA in 2002 from the Cornell University Johnson Graduate School of Management and has additional degrees from Rutgers University (Ph.D. in chemical engineering, 2001), the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science (M.S. in marine geology and geophysics, 1988), and the University of Vermont (B.A. in geology, 1983).

Tom Tomaka
Technical Associate

Tom worked for IBM for 20 years, where he developed new business, brought new products to market and also consulted for a host of companies who relied on him to acquire the right combination of hardware, software and services. Tom consults for organizations who seek technology solutions to their sustainability challenges He earned his MS of Industrial and Systems Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and maintains a long-standing advocacy for the use of bicycles for transportation, recreation and public health. Tom brings with him an extensive technology expertise and a passion for seeking practical, innovative strategies for solving the problem of climate change.
